Similar to the XP1 but built out to be extremely durable . We left all the same features of the XP1 that our customers have come to love, breathable engineered 3 - layer mesh , comfort and responsiveness, but honed in on areas and beefed them up for maximum performance. The heel is extremely built out for extra stability when it counts . We’ve reinforced key areas of the toe box and sidewalls with durable TPU for protection against debris . We didn’t touch the outsole , so the familiar feel of traction is still there made famous on the XP1s . Grip is unparalleled with very aggressive V shaped lugs throughout .
- FIT RECOMMENDATION: runs on the smaller side . We Suggest sizing up by 1 full size - can accommodate a thicker sock .
- WIDE: size up by 1 for a larger toe box fit.
- 9mm heel to toe drop.

Excellent quality, small sizing.
I wear a size 11 shoe and boot. I read the size recommendations from customers and the company and decided on ordering size 11.5. They were too small so I had to order another pair in size 12.5. Fit great now. Very comfortable and well made. I highly suggest purchasing from this company. Just order a bigger size!

Men’s XTR black shoe
Great looking shoe but a little tight considering the size I wear. I’m afraid to re-order the size I need, considering it took almost 3 weeks to get to me. If they could, Xpress ship them for free, I would re-order them.

Great Shoe!
I have been wearing these at work and they have been very comfortable. I work in automotive service department so I am walking several miles a day back and forth from the desk to the shop etc. Also deal with all kinds of different surfaces and the grip on these shoes is fantastic (except on ice watch out). The thin toungue takes some getting used to and it makes it slightly harder to get the shoe on your foot without completely untying and loosening the strings. Overall it is a good looking and comfortable shoe

Great Shoe
Great shoe design & Feel
Going to return though for a 1/2 size smaller
One full size was a bit too large for me.
However my other Freedom ind shoes were perfect upsizing to 1/2 size up. I'm sure it will be great when I get a 10.5 instead of a 11.

Great Shoe
Trying to get away from the mainstream brands- purchased the XP1’s a couple of years back. THEY were a great shoe! I saw these were available and decided to purchase- so far they fit nice and snug on my feet. Still trying to break them in, but they are comfortable (order a size larger than you normally would) 5 stars

Rugged and comfortable
These shoes are very well built with a rugged coating in all the right places. I am normally a size 12 in most brands. With other FI shoes I am a size 12.5, however this style runs small and I had to go with a size 13. I had to send my first pair back to get the right size but had an easy exchange experience with free shipping. These shoes are very comfortable for walking around on sidewalks to hitting the trails. I wouldn't recommend running in these shoes unless you are a trail runner, not a street runner.

Awesome work shoe
So excited to try these out working. I am trading them for a larger size. I normally wear an 11 but ordered an 11.5 since I read they tend to run a little small in some reviews. They fit but still a little too short so exchanging for a 12.
